We are currently reviewing applications (though if you REALLY think you're a fit, please reach out), and those who will be tabling for the March 10, 2018 event will be contacted by the end of November. Volunteers are ALWAYS needed, so if your interest is in volunteering, there is no real deadline - please contact us!
We cannot guarantee anyone a specific position since we may find that one area needs help more than another on the day of the convention, but we invite you to let us know if you have a particular area of skill or interest for volunteering.
We ask that volunteers be 16 years of age or older.
Not all volunteer applications may be accepted, but we hope that whether you end up on the volunteer team or not, you will come out to support the show!
This isn’t a paying gig. Unfortunately we’re a not for profit con dedicated to the goal of educating and inspiring women. We are all professionals, and we’re doing this in our spare time - we’re hoping that you’re passionate about the cause and able to do the same!
We are a small, one day event. That means that we will only be able to support and feature so many guests. If we are not able to invite you out to the con, it doesn’t mean we don’t like you or your field or your work - it probably just means we are full or at least have reached capacity with guests in your field.
Many of our guests pull double duty. We want attendees to be able to see what guests do, so most of our artist alley is actually made up of our guests selling their wares and representing their field. It allows guests to speak one on one with attendees and make personal connections outside of panels.
Table space is extremely limited. We apologize in advance for the fact that we won’t be able to take everyone who applies for a space as much as we would like to. The bigger the con gets, the more space we can have in the future, so if you like what we’re doing? Please be sure to let people know about the event!
A jury made up of members of the WOWcon planning committee will review all applications and ultimately make the decisions about who will be accepted.
Please note that pornographic content is not allowed in the library, and adult content (nudity, language) should be censored to make it all ages appropriate as this is an all ages event.
If after reading all of our guidelines, you think you or your client are a good fit as a guest or artist or you are interested in volunteering, please contact WomenOfWonderCon@gmail.com with a subject head matching your request, and our planning committee will review your information!
